"Safety and quality in the provision of medical care"

03.04.-26.04.2023 within the framework of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Balkhash Medical College, an online Olympiad on the discipline "safety and quality in the provision of medical care" was held among 2nd year students of the specialty "medical care" of Republican medical colleges.

✅ For fair summing up the results of the Olympiad, a special expert commission was approved:
1. Kalykbekova Sh. a. - head of the Department of the Regional Representative Office of the city of Balkhash
2. Batanaeva L. K.-head of the Balkhash City Department of sanitary and epidemiological control of the SEB
3. Ildibaeva A. R.-head of the nursing department of the Central Hospital of the KSE of Balkhash
4. Shozda K. E.-teacher of the Department "Nursing" of NAO "Karaganda Medical University", Master of Medical Sciences
5. Bayseitova R. T.-head of the practice Department of the college

✅ Online-participants who applied for the Olympiad from 24 colleges presented the demonstration of practical skills in the 1st stage in the format of a video.
Of these, the jury evaluated 18 participants in the following two areas:
* Direction 1 - " patient safety”
* 2nd direction - ”safety for medical workers"

✅ Students who took an online test with a web camera on their theoretical knowledge in the 2nd stage on the ZUM platform in the 3rd stage “Why Is Security important?"verbally answered the interactive questionnaire.
